A series of large-scale live action role playing events investigating the ideological legacy of controversial 1970s self-actualization seminars.

Zeigarnik Effect

Live role-playing sessions facilitated by a sentient sculptural ‘entity’ in a fictional world revolving around a cognitive phenomenon first observed by 20th century psychologist Bluma Zeigarnik.

A commission by Momentum 8: The Nordic Biennial of Contemporary Art.

Velvet Strike

Velvet-Strike is a mod of the first-person shooter video game Counter-Strike. The mod adds “protest sprays” to the game’s existing graffiti function.

A 5 day live role-playing event set on a communal farm featuring elusive artificial intelligence embodied by an abstract sculpture.

Live role-playing games where players worshipped sculptural dieties at the Sonsbeek International public sculpture exhibition.

Commissioned for the Sonsbeek International public sculpture exhibition in the Netherlands.

Without Sun

A performance using a collection of found videos of individuals describing and experiencing the effects of a dissociative substance as choreography and script.

Screened and performed at MoMA, New York, The Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, and Machine Project, Los Angeles.

Response Priming

A series of social psychology experiment modifications based on Terror Management Theories in evolutionary psychology.

Commissioned for the ANTI-Athens Biennale 2018.

Four Sessions

A series of documented game-like existential therapy sessions with Korean intangible cultural treasures.

Case

A 6 hour reading of a modified version of Neuromancer by William Gibson, featuring moving sculptural props and accompanied by the Gamelan ensemble Dharma Swara.

A game of 3 rules for up to 20 players with poles.

Possession Tokens

Screen recordings of nudging high polygonal meshes in 3D software in response to recordings of historical possession, electric voice phenomena, and exorcism.

Associative Deck

An expanding card deck that acts as a tool for workshopping, auto-narrative generation, social games, and as a private research aid.
