1. You and the others in the line are a world engine. If you stop rotating the line, the world disappears.
2. The poles must be in a line, and the pole ends touching. Attempt to keep one end of the line high, and the other end low.
3. When you are tired, pull your pole out of the line. The other players should fill the gap, and another player will join the end of the line.
